Cleanroom sandwich panel

Cleanroom sandwich panel is a metal-faced composite panel developed for high-clean controlled environments. It features dust-proof, antibacterial flat steel sheets on both sides, paired with a variety of high-performance core materials (PU/PIR, rock wool, magnesium oxysulfide, aluminum honeycomb, etc.), and is available in automatic mechanized panels and handmade edge-sealed panels. The dense, non-porous surface resists dust accumulation. Equipped with radius cove corners and sealed interlocking joints, it provides excellent air tightness to suppress particle generation and facilitate disinfection and cleaning. It also delivers thermal insulation, sound insulation, fire resistance and enclosure functions. It is the core panel for walls, ceilings and partitions of prefabricated clean workshops, complying with ISO Class 5~8 cleanliness requirements and EU GMP standards.

Construction

1. Face sheets (both sides): Flat non-porous metal sheet

- Base material: Alu-zinc coated steel / hot-dip galvanized steel S250GD / SGCC; 304/316 stainless steel and aluminum sheet optional

- Functional coating: PE polyester, HDP high weather resistance, antibacterial coating, ESD anti-static coating (special for electronic workshops)

- Steel thickness: 0.4mm / 0.5mm / 0.6mm / 0.7mm optional

- Surface feature: Matte and smooth, fine-line free, dust-repellent, repeatedly wipeable with disinfectant

2. Core (optional)

- PU / PIR: Closed-cell rigid PUR/PIR foam, CFC/HCFC-free foaming, low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation

- Density: 40±2 kg/m³; closed cell content ≥97%

- Rock wool: A1 non-combustible, high-density rock wool with excellent fire resistance and sound insulation

- Magnesium oxide / Magnesium oxysulfide: Class A fireproof, moisture-proof and dimensionally stable

- Aluminum honeycomb: Ultra-flat, non-dusting, suitable for high cleanliness classes such as ISO 5

3. Side joint structure
Standard male & female interlocking joint. Four-sided edge wrapping plus cam-lock is optional for handmade panels. Matched with EPDM sealing strips, the joint is tightly sealed to reduce dust dead corners, air leakage and particle penetration. Supporting R-radius internal cove corners eliminate sanitary dead zones for easy flushing and disinfection.
