XPS foam board

XPS foam board (Extruded Polystyrene Foam Board) is a rigid closed-cell thermal insulation board produced by extruding polystyrene resin with additives under high temperature. It features a uniform dense closed-cell honeycomb structure, delivering outstanding compressive strength, ultra-low water absorption and stable thermal conductivity. It is moisture-proof and frost-resistant with low long-term insulation decay. Regular, flame-retardant, grooved & textured surfaces are available for various applications including building roofs, floors, exterior walls, cold storage, road subgrade and pipeline insulation.

Construction

1.Base material: Polystyrene resin (PS) plus functional additives
-Foam structure: Continuous closed-cell honeycomb structure
-Surface finish: Smooth, skinned, grooved, embossed
-Color: Blue, pink, grey, green (varies by formulation)
2.Optional flame retardant grade: General flame retardant / Class B1 flame retardant
3.Grooved board (without dense skin): Better adhesion for mortar, mainly for external wall insulation
