PU Foof Panel

PU roof sandwich panel is a metal-faced rigid polyurethane foam composite sandwich panel. It is formed in one step on an automatic production line, consisting of two layers of pre-coated color steel sheets (aluminum or stainless steel optional) and a rigid PU core by continuous high-pressure foaming. The panel features trapezoidal ribs for roofing and interlocking waterproof joints. Integrating thermal insulation, waterproofing, load-bearing and enclosure functions, it is a mainstream energy-saving roofing panel for steel structure buildings. It adopts CFC/HCFC-free foaming, eco-friendly with low thermal conductivity.

Construction

1. Top facing (outer sheet): Trapezoidal profiled metal sheet with large ribs specially designed for roofing, good drainage performance and high wind resistance.
- Base material: Alu-zinc coated steel / hot-dip galvanized steel, S250GD / SGCC
- Coating: PE polyester, SMP silicon modified polyester, PVDF fluorocarbon (high weather resistance)

- Thickness: 0.4mm / 0.5mm / 0.6mm / 0.7mm / 0.8mm optional
2. Core: Closed-cell rigid PUR foam, CFC/HCFC-free foaming
- Density: 38–42 kg/m³ (standard 40±2 kg/m³)

- Closed cell content: ≥97%, extremely low water absorption, resistant to moisture penetration
3. Bottom facing (inner sheet): Flat color steel sheet / micro-ribbed sheet, aluminum foil, PVC film, stainless steel sheet optional

4. Side joint structure: Hidden-fix / interlocking joint specially for roof panels, built-in sealing groove, matched with PU sealing strip to reduce thermal bridge

Features & Advantages

Ultra-low thermal conductivity & remarkable energy saving:

Its thermal insulation performance is far better than rock wool and EPS, greatly cutting air conditioning and refrigeration energy consumption. Ideal for cold storage and constant-temperature workshops.

Lightweight & high strength, friendly to load:

Low self-weight reduces loads on steel main beams and purlins, lowering the cost of steel structures.

Integrated waterproof structure:

Trapezoidal profiling + interlocking joints + supporting sealing strips reduce roof leakage risks. No extra large-area waterproof membrane is required.

Custom long lengths, wide effective coverage per panel, hidden bolt fixing and dry construction. Shorten construction period and cut on-site labor.

Weather resistance & anti-aging:

PVDF fluorocarbon coating comes with a 15–25 year warranty. It resists UV rays, acid rain and salt spray, suitable for coastal projects.

Moisture-proof & anti-condensation:

High closed-cell structure prevents moisture penetration, avoiding condensation and dripping on the inner side.

Eco-friendly & fluorine-free:

Free of ozone-depleting substances, recyclable, complying with EU and domestic environmental standards.

Compatible with photovoltaics:

Smooth panel surface and stable load capacity allow direct installation of PV brackets. It is a popular solution for solar roof systems.
